Julian Parkin-Haig was educated at Melbourne Grammar School and the University of Melbourne where he won a choral scholarship to Trinity College. He read undergraduate degrees in Geography, Music, and History, has a Graduate Diploma in Education, Certificate in Art History, and a Master in Education specialising in curriculum development. He began his teaching career at Geelong Grammar School where HRH Prince Charles attended and has spent most of teaching career in the boarding and day independent sectors. He was delighted to accept a position in the Geography Department at Didcot Girls’ School in 2017, feeling that the ethos and growth mindset sat neatly with his pedagogy. Head of Year 7 at DGS in 2018, he was appointed Head of Year 12 at Didcot Sixth Form in 2019. He is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and the Royal Society of Arts.

Miss C Hanna Head of Year 13

Charlotte Hanna was educated at a South Oxfordshire comprehensive school. She then graduated from Brighton University in 2008 with a degree in Sport and Exercise Science, completing her dissertation in the research of levels of self-esteem and self-efficacy in teenage girls and their motivation to take part in physical activity. Charlotte then returned to the local area to complete her teaching qualification at Reading University. She has taught at Didcot Girls' School since 2009. Charlotte is currently a Head of Year in the Sixth Form and teaches PE up to A2 level. Charlotte is particularly keen to carry on developing high quality provision within our Sixth Form.
