147 students applied to university – 72% of year group 

135 students were placed at university – 67% of year group 

104 students placed at first choice of university 

12 students placed at second choice of university 

3 students were placed on an alternative course offer 

13 students were placed in clearing  

 

3 students achieved Oxbridge places (out of 4 students to be made offers) 

3 students achieved a place on a medical degree course (out of 3 to be made offers) 

74 (55%) of students attending university have been placed at a Russell Group university. 

1 student withdrew her UK university choice to study internationally in Finland.  

9 students that initially applied withdrew their applications for other opportunities or gap years 

 

Gap Year 

54 (27%) students decided to take a gap year and are either going to apply to university or an apprenticeship within this next year. 

 

Apprenticeships 

7 students have confirmed apprenticeships with others looking over the next year.
