Enrolment Process 2026

Didcot Sixth Form Enrolment 2026

We hope you’ve enjoyed a well-earned and relaxing summer break. As results day approaches, please read the information below carefully to understand the steps involved in confirming your place at Didcot Sixth Form.

Enrolment Dates

Enrolment will take place on Thursday 20th August and Friday 21st August 2026.

Your place at Didcot Sixth Form is not confirmed until you have successfully enrolled and received a confirmation email. These confirmation emails will be sent by the end of the day on Friday 21st August.

What to Do on Results Day

There are three main scenarios:

1. You have met the requirements for your chosen subjects and want to enrol

2. You want to change subjects and meet the entry requirements for your new choices

  • Do not complete the enrolment form. Instead, email enquiries@didcotsixthform.co.uk by the end of Thursday 20th August to book an Options Clinic appointment.

3. You haven’t met the entry requirements for your chosen subjects

Options Clinic appointments are by telephone and available:

  • Until 5pm on Thursday 20th August

  • Between 9am and 10am on Friday 21st August

You will receive a confirmation email once your appointment is booked.

What Happens After Enrolment?

On Wednesday 26th August, we will email further information to all students who have successfully enrolled.

First day of term: Thursday 3rd September. Students should arrive by 8:45am and go straight to the Hall on the St Birinus campus. Timetables will be available via Microsoft Teams for students at DGS and SBS, and via paper copies on arrival for students new to the Trust.

Post-Induction Reminders

  • Post-induction work: this can be completed over the summer and helps you get off to a strong start.

  • Equipment list: each subject has a list of required items. If you are eligible for the bursary, we will purchase these on your behalf.

  • Device policy: all students commit to bring a charged device to school each day. Those entitled to the 16-19 bursary will receive a loan touchscreen device.

  • 16–19 Bursary: If your household income is below £30,000 (or slightly higher with multiple dependents), we encourage you to apply. The bursary can help cover:

    • Textbooks and equipment

    • Laptop loan

    • Other educational costs

  • Dress Code: Please check the DSF dress code before buying new clothes for September.
