We are delighted you are considering applying to Didcot Sixth Form for September 2024 entry.

We encourage you browse our prospectus and the information about subject choices in the 'Curriculum' area of our website. Information about subject entry requirements can be found by clicking here. 

Applications for September 2024 are currently open, and priority applications will be accepted until Monday 8th January 2024. Please click here to access the online application form.

The application process from now until September 2024 is as follows:

1. Apply online by 8th January, choosing four preferred subjects on your application form (please note these are not your final subject choices)
2. Subject 'Blocking’ published in early January. Students can think about which subject to pick from one of four subject blocks
3. Guidance meetings take place in January and February. These meetings are for all applicants joining us from outside the Trust, or for those at DGS and SBS who are unsure about subject choices
4. Make firm subject choices by the end of February – these choices are important, as you might not be able to change later if subjects are full
5. Offer letters published in early March. We issue conditional offers to all applicants, the condition being that students meet the subject entry requirements for their chosen subjects, and there are places available in these subjects
6. D6 induction week at the end of June. This is as close as possible to a normal 'week in the life of a Didcot Sixth Form student' and is for all applicants
7. Results day (Thursday 22nd August) and enrolment deadline (midday on Friday 23rd August). All applicants will know whether they have secured a place at sixth form by the end of the day on Friday 23rd August
