Enrolment Process 2025

Didcot Sixth Form Enrolment 2025

We hope you’ve enjoyed a well-earned and relaxing summer break. As results day approaches, please read the information below carefully to understand the steps involved in confirming your place at Didcot Sixth Form.

Enrolment Dates

Enrolment will take place on Thursday 21st August and Friday 22nd August 2025.

Your place at Didcot Sixth Form is not confirmed until you have successfully enrolled and received a confirmation email. These emails will be sent by the end of Friday 22nd August.

What to Do on Results Day

There are three main scenarios:

1. You have met the requirements for your chosen subjects and want to enrol

  • Complete the online enrolment form between 8am on Thursday 21st August and midday on Friday 22nd August. This will be sent to you by email on Thursday 14th August.

2. You want to change subjects and meet the entry requirements for your new choices

  • Do not complete the enrolment form. Instead, email enquiries@didcotsixthform.co.uk by the end of Thursday 21st August to book an Options Clinic appointment.

3. You haven’t met the entry requirements for your chosen subjects

Options Clinic appointments are by telephone and available:

  • Until 5pm on Thursday 21st August

  • Until 10am on Friday 22nd August

You will receive a confirmation email once your appointment is booked.

All students must bring a charged laptop to school every day for use in lessons and independent study.

Support available:

  • Students eligible for the 16–19 Bursary will be loaned a touchscreen laptop.

  • A lease/hire purchase scheme is available through Easy4U. More information can be found here and here.

Please note: devices ordered now may not arrive before the start of term, but we may be able to offer a temporary loan device.

What Happens After Enrolment?

On Wednesday 27th August, we will email further information to all students who have successfully enrolled.

First day of term: Wednesday 3rd September. Students should arrive by 8:45am and go straight to the Hall on the St Birinus campus. Timetables will be available via Microsoft Teams.

Post-Induction Reminders

  • Post-induction work: This can be completed over the summer and helps you get off to a strong start.

  • Equipment list: Each subject has a list of required items. If you are eligible for the bursary, we will purchase these on your behalf.

  • 16–19 Bursary: If your household income is below £30,000 (or slightly higher with multiple dependents), we encourage you to apply. The bursary can help cover:
