Online Enrolment Form
The enrolment process for Didcot Sixth Form applicants takes place on Thursday 22nd August and Friday 23rd August.
Please note that your place at Didcot Sixth Form is not confirmed until you have successfully enrolled, and we have sent you a confirmation email, which you can expect by the end of the day on Friday 23rd August.
Results Day
On results day, there are three possible scenarios:
- You have met the requirements for your chosen subjects and wish to enrol. Please complete this online form (for DGS/SBS students) and this online form (for students from other schools) by midday on Friday 23rd August. The form opens at 8am on Thursday 22nd August.
- You wish to change your chosen subjects, and you have met the requirements for the new subjects. In this case, do not enrol online. Instead, email d6events@didcotsixthform.co.uk by the end of the day on Thursday 22nd August to schedule an appointment at our options clinic. At this appointment, we will explore your options and finalise a basis on which you can enrol.
- You have not met the entry requirements for your chosen subjects. If you would like to explore your options, please get in touch on d6events@didcotsixthform.co.uk to request an appointment at the options clinic.
To review the entry requirements or see the subjects we offer, please click here. Options clinic appointments are available all day on Thursday 22nd August, and until midday on Friday 23rd August. A member of our staff will reach out to confirm your appointment time, and all appointments will be conducted by telephone.
If you have any questions regarding the process after receiving your results or are uncertain about what your results mean for your place at Didcot Sixth Form, please do not hesitate to contact us at d6events@didcotsixthform.co.uk. Additionally, please refer to the information below regarding post-enrolment procedures and induction reminders.
Laptop Computers
We can now accept orders for laptop computers for September 2024. Please note that it is a condition of enrolment that students agree to bring a laptop to school every day from Year 12 onwards. Devices are available on long-term loan for those in receipt of the 16-19 bursary (see more below).
We have partnered with Easy4U who are an established provider of laptop computers to schools. Easy4U have options to purchase via a payment plan or on a lease basis. Please click here for more information about both options, including a link to the online shop. A YouTube overview is available here, with more information about the specific devices here.
What happens after induction?
On Wednesday 28th August, we will send out further information to those who have enrolled regarding arrangements for the beginning of term. I can confirm that the first day of term for Year 12 students will be Wednesday 4th September. Students should report directly to the Hall on the St Birinus campus by 8.45am and will receive their timetables via email to their school email address prior to this.
