Heads of Year


The Head of Year 12 is:

Miss C Hanna Head of Year 13 Charlotte Hanna was educated at a South Oxfordshire comprehensive school. She then graduated from Brighton University in 2008 with a degree in Sport and Exercise Science, completing her dissertation in the research of levels of self-esteem and self-efficacy in teenage girls and their motivation to take part in physical activity. Charlotte then returned to the local area to complete her teaching qualification at Reading University. She has taught at Didcot Girls' School since 2009. Charlotte is currently a Head of Year in the Sixth Form and teaches PE up to A2 level. Charlotte is particularly keen to carry on developing high quality provision within our Sixth Form.

Mr E Anderson Head of Year 12

Eddy Anderson was educated at a state school in south Lincolnshire. He then graduated from the University of Oxford in 2010 with a degree in English Language and Literature, where he specialized in medieval English and philology. After a year working for the British Council in Rostock, Germany, Eddy completed his PGCE in Chelmsford at Anglia Ruskin University, where he trained at a girls’ grammar school and a mixed comprehensive. His first teaching post was at Wood Green School in Witney, where he had a responsibility for Advanced Learners. He has been teaching at Didcot Girls’ School since 2016, and he was appointed Head of Year 12 in 2017.
